Injection Therapy: Glutathione Inflammation reducing treatment

Restore glutathione levels to boost immunity and help your body recover from stress.

The treatment

What it is, and how it works

What is Glutathione?

Glutathione is a potent antioxidant that our bodies produce in small amounts. It neutralizes free radicals, protects cells, and aids in the production of other antioxidants.

How it Works

Glutathione is the master antioxidant of our bodies, and its levels decline as we age. By replenishing your supply, your body can become more resilient to stress and illness.

    • Injections will be given in the muscle. After sanitizing, your clinician will use their thumb and forefinger to hold the skin tight and administer the shot.
    • The injection is quick, and any soreness will wear off over the next 24 hours.
    • We recommend getting an injection once per week. Most people start to see results after 4 injections.

    Key Ingredient

    What's in your injection?

    • Glutathione is a tripeptide molecule composed of the amino acids cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid. It is a powerful antioxidant that is essential for maintaining a healthy immune system, building and repairing tissue in the body, and protecting your body from cell damage caused by free radicals.

Common questions

How will this Glutathione help me?

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant responsible for cleaning up oxidative damage in our cells. Whether you’ve been sick lately or dealing with emotional stressors, replenishing glutathione levels can prepare your body to fight inflammation and feel better faster.

How often should I get this injection?

We typically recommend getting an injection once per week, but your clinician can give you a personalized recommendation based on your unique situation. Most people start to see results after 4 shots, though some begin to see them sooner.

Suppose you previously completed an IV therapy protocol that includes glutathione (such as our Stress IV drip). Glutathione shots are a great way to maintain your levels after you stop getting IV drips regularly.

Are there any side effects?

Glutathione injections are considered very safe and have no major side effects. After getting your shot, you may have some pain, swelling, or itching where your injection was given. However, this is typically mild and will wear off quickly.

What’s the difference between Glutathione Injection and the Stress IV Drip?

Our Stress IV Drip includes a high dose of Vitamin C, which helps fight fatigue and reduce inflammation, while our Stress Injection solely contains glutathione.

Both options can help boost immunity and reduce inflammation; however, Stress IV has more of a proven research base to support its effects on reducing inflammation.

The ingredients in the Stress IV are also absorbed more efficiently than injections, leading to faster and often more potent effects.

The treatment experience is also much different. During an IV drip appointment, the nutrients are delivered via IV in a relaxing session that lasts 45-60 minutes. Our vitamin injection appointments are much quicker and may be better for someone short on time.
