Accessibility

Last reviewed 19 October 2026

Modern Age wants everyone to be able to learn about our care, find a treatment and get in touch with the clinic, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across modernage.nyc.

What we have done

  • Pages are built to work with a keyboard alone, start with a “Skip to content” link and have a single main heading.
  • Anything that moves on its own — the scrolling strips, the slides and the rotating treatment names — has a pause button, and stops entirely when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Pictures carry text descriptions, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Forms label every field, say which ones are required and read their errors aloud.
  • The site follows your device’s light or dark setting, and you can choose either at the foot of every page.

What we know still falls short

  • The opening of the homepage is a scroll-driven animation; at very high zoom levels some of its text can be cut off. Turning on reduced motion shows it as a single, still page.
  • Text sizes are fixed in pixels, so a larger default font size set in your browser is not applied. Browser zoom works everywhere.

Tell us when something is in your way

If any part of this site is hard to use, we want to know, and we will help you get what you came for another way in the meantime. Email info@modern-age.com or call (646) 847-7890, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Please tell us the page and what happened.
